2 Days Race | 130 & 150km | 4 Time Controls | 2 Cross Tests on the Beach | 1 Special Test
Racing is fun, of course! But racing in the heart of Croatia with unbelievable panorama, amazing singletrails and a beach is simply great! For the second time, it took me to the small town called “Primosten” to participate in the KRKA Enduro Rally and it paid off!
Getting up at 5:45, ready to put the bike to the start 6:00, breakfast 6:30, jumping into the Enduro gear 7:15 and off to start – 8:00!
Gravel roads, trails in the forest, some difficult passages and lots of stones! Riding Enduro in Croatia is very special, but once you have settled on the ground, it is really fun! I registered for the “Hard” Class, which is the most difficult route in the race! I could finish the technical parts without any problems and also the time checks went really well! 2 TC per day. I tried to go fast without mistakes and I succeeded on both days! In the cross-test on the beach, the combination of the right line and gas counted! Motocross is not one of my strengths, but I felt good and had fun in the sand! 🙂
I also had a really good run at the additional special test in cross country style! Navigating worked much better than in the previous year! All in all, I am super happy with my second rally! Overall I could win the ladies class. 24 ladies participated in the race. To be on the podium with Christine Wiesner was really cool! 🙂
In the overall evaluation, more than 500 riders were involved. For me place 159 – not that bad! 😉
Now the Austrian Cross Country season starts! Fingers crossed for the next weekend! 😉
